Many of the formulas used on this site are clearly labelled as placeholders. They perform basic arithmetic conversions (for example, milligrams per week into milligrams per injection) and do not model pharmacokinetics, ester-specific half-lives, peak/trough behaviour, or individual patient factors. Always verify any number with a licensed clinician and the actual product labelling for your medication.
Syringe markings and devices
U-100 syringe unit estimates assume the standard factor of 100 units per millilitre (1 unit = 0.01 mL). Always confirm the markings on your specific syringe or device before drawing or administering any medication.
